Purati Lighting

Purati design and manufacture contemporary LED luminaires for architects, interior designers and specifiers. The name is an acronym — Performance, Uniqueness, Responsibility, Aesthetics, Technology, Innovation — and it's a fair summary of where the range sits: European design language and optical discipline, built at a price point that survives contact with a real project budget.

Solstice Lighting represents the complete Purati range across Melbourne and Australia — every family, not a curated selection — with a selection of fittings on display and lit in our Brunswick showroom.

Why we specify Purati

Most of the compromise in a downlight happens in the parts nobody photographs. Purati get the unglamorous things right — colour consistency, glare control, and beam definition that holds up when you put four fittings in a row on a plaster ceiling.

The Fuoco Round Trim is representative of the range: CRI 97, SDCM under 3, UGR under 19, IP54 with an IC-4 insulation rating, and a choice of 15°, 24°, 36° and 60° beam angles. 10W delivering 917lm at 100lm/W. Rated to over 50,000 hours L90, with a five-year warranty.

For anyone specifying: SDCM under 3 is the number worth paying attention to. It means the colour variation between fittings sits inside a tolerance most people can't perceive — which matters when a client is standing under a run of downlights in a white kitchen wondering why one looks slightly pink.

The complete range

We represent every Purati family currently in production — recessed, surface, wall, suspension, free-standing, and both the 48V and three-circuit track systems. If it's in the Purati catalogue, we can spec it and get it for your project.

Recessed

  • Fuoco — the core recessed family, in an unusually wide range of optics: Round and Square Trim, Round and Square Trimless, a CNC-machined Round Trimless, Pinhole and Keyhole for minimal-aperture applications, Mini for tight ceilings, Duo for twin-head fittings, In & Out and Out Round for adjustable accent work, and Move Out with in-and-out shifting for precise beam placement.
  • Fusi — compact recessed spots for controlled accent light from a small aperture.
  • Point R and Point S — recessed members of the Point family, sized for round and square apertures.
  • Coda — Trim, Trimless and an adjustable heads variant, for tighter apertures where a full-size downlight doesn't suit the ceiling.
  • Pura Trim 270 and Slice Circle 270 — recessed-frame versions of the Pura and Slice surface families.
  • Static Essential Spotlight — a simple fixed-position recessed spot.

Surface mounted

  • Compo — surface luminaires from 320mm to 900mm, in Prismatic (Office) or Opal diffuser, both available with direct-only or direct/indirect light distribution.
  • Disc — surface-mounted ceiling fittings in multiple diameters, a softer, more diffuse alternative to a downlight grid.
  • Fuoco, Fusi and Fuoco H135 — surface-mounted versions of the recessed optical engines where recessing isn't possible, plus a dedicated 135mm surface head.
  • Pura, including Build-on 100 and Build-on 150 — surface-mounted options that avoid ceiling penetration entirely.
  • Krono, Ring Pro, Pivot Spot and Point — adjustable and fixed surface spots for accent and general lighting.
  • Slice — Circle, Square and Long formats, a clean geometric surface family.
  • Storm and Safe Wall — robust surface fittings suited to exterior and wet-area applications.
  • Shade, Verso, Core C80, Arcora, Beam, Sphera, Float, GO and Unica Flex — decorative and architectural surface luminaires across a range of forms, from minimal discs to linear profiles.

Wall mounted

  • Sphera — a dim-to-warm, IP65-rated wall light for bathrooms and exteriors.
  • SKY — a wall uplight in multiple sizes.
  • Shade, Disc, Slice (Circle and Square), Arcora, Krono and Safe Wall — wall-mounted versions of the surface families above, for consistent optics across a project.
  • Storm 325, including a Glare Guard variant — an exterior-rated wall light for facades and walkways.

Suspension

  • Float — suspended discs in multiple diameters, with rod and cable suspension kits.
  • Verso — pendant and Office (acoustic/task) configurations in 1200mm and 1500mm lengths, including combined Office Pendant variants.
  • Metrico Pendant and StripLine Pendant — linear suspended fittings in 1200mm and 1500mm lengths.
  • Compo and Fuoco suspension kits, Slice Long, Disc 300, Ring Pro, Sheet 07, GO, Beam and Unica Flex — pendant versions of the surface-mount families, for consistent optics between ceiling and drop fittings.

Free-standing

  • Compo Floor Luminaire — a free-standing floor lamp sharing the Compo family's geometry.

48V track systems

  • Ball and Ball L — spherical adjustable spots for 48V track, in surface and pendant formats.
  • Box and Box-L — compact rectangular track heads.
  • Lightpad and Lightpad-L — flat-profile track spots for a low-glare look on the rail.
  • Filo — Spot and Diffused optics in multiple lengths, for a slimline track-mounted linear look.
  • Luogo — spot heads in a range of wattages.
  • Zoom — a projector-style track spotlight with a 10–50° adjustable beam angle.
  • Flex — a flexible track head for accent work.
  • Linear Long — an extended linear track-mounted luminaire.
  • LV 48V Track Series — the full track infrastructure: low-profile, high-profile and trimless track, power feeds, straight and L-joiners, flexible connectors, end caps, track covers and suspension kits, so a run can be specified and delivered as one continuous system.

Three-circuit track

  • Point, GO, Disc and Pura — track-mounted versions of these families for mains-voltage 4-wire, 3-circuit track, a different system from the 48V DC track above, useful where a project's existing track infrastructure is already 3-circuit.

Specifying Purati on your project

We're not a box-shifter. Our design team works across residential, retail, hospitality and commercial projects, and we're happy to be involved at the point where fitting selection is still open — which is usually when we can add the most value.

We'll work to your drawings, run the calculations, and consolidate the whole project consignment so it arrives on site together rather than in six deliveries across three weeks. Spec sheets, installation manuals and photometric files are available on each product page — if you need IES files for a Dialux or AGi32 model, ask and we'll send them through.
